July 21: Federation of Contractors’ Association of Nepal (FCAN) has launched its weekly television show related to construction. The show has been lunched with an objective of making the construction sector more commercial and competitive.
Means of communication play a huge role in managing the construction business, said Devendra Karki, secretary at the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transportation. The good deeds of the sector should be promoted while the bad ones should also be highlighted by the media, he said.
This program will help to address the obstacles present in the construction sector of the country, said Rabindranath Shrestha joint-secretary at the ministry.
Various quires regarding the construction business and their solutions will be broadcast in the program, informed Shiv Adhikari, executive director of ICID.
