Police Arrest Paragliding Instructor, Operator

July 26: Police have arrested the operator and an instructor of Blue Sky Paragliding after receiving complaint that their negligence led to the death of a trainee.

The duo have been accused of not maintain proper safety standards during training. The complaint recorded by police in Pokhara states that the negligence of the operator and instructors of the paragliding institution led to the death of 26-year-old Prabhat Subedi of Pokhara-30 on June 19 in course of training.  

Based on the complaint, police have arrested Blue Sky Paragliding’s operator Narayan Parajuli and instructor Damodar Parajuli. Police informed that investigations are underway.
