Kraft Heinz launches New Drink in Nepal

August 22: Kraft Heinz has launched Heinz Power Sprouts, a new entrant under the malt drink segment in Nepal.

“Sprouting is traditionally known to increase the nutrition of grains. Two sprouted grains - ragi and barley – have been used along with soya and wheat for this product,” reads a press statement issued by the company.

There are additional 31 vital nutrients that support physical and mental growth, says the company.

According to the company, ragi is known to be a rich source of calcium which is a significant factor for bone development. It contains higher amount of dietary fiber and aids digestion, prevents over-eating and makes one feel fuller for a longer span of time. Barley is rich in fiber and is also a source of calcium.Wheat is a rich source of energy while soybean is a source of superior quality of protein.It contains all the essential amino acids necessary for human nutrition.

Heinz Power Sprouts is currently available in two delicious flavors - honey dates and chocolate. The whole grains used in the product are soaked and sprouted for up to 48 hours and then slowly roasted to unlock the rich and delicious flavor that both kids and adults will relish.

Heinz Power Sprouts is high on nutrition and has 31 vital nutrients that help in overall growth and development, help build strong and healthy bones, supports energy and its metabolism and improves the immune function and help in fluid and electrolyte balance, claims the statement.
