August 25: Nepal Bank Limited made a net profit of Rs 3.22 billion in fiscal year 2016/17. The profit is 12 percent more than the profit made by the bank in the previous year. The bank alsi raised its paid-up capital by 24 percent to Rs 8.4 billion. Likewise, the bank’s reserve fund has Rs 3.51 billion. The bank has deposited a total of Rs 93.94 billion as of mid-July 2017 and has loaned out Rs 74.37 billion.
The bank has 133 branches in 53 districts. It also has eight extension counters, which also provide ATM service. The bank has been providing normal service as well as mobile and online banking services.
