September 4: More than 65,000 people attended the NADA Auto Show, which concluded on September 3. The six-day expo was successful in dealing with transaction worth Rs 4 billion, according to the organizers. During the expo, 1,000 four-wheelers and 1,600 two-wheelers were booked by the visitors, informed NADA’s Secretary Deepak Kaji Tuladhar.
According to him, the total transaction during the expo was around Rs 4 billion.
The auto show jointly organized by Nepal Automobiles Dealers Association and Management Services turned out to be better than expected, said Tuladhar.
One of the visitors was awarded UM’s Commando 230 cc bike as bumper prize during the closing ceremony of the event.
Besides displaying vehicles of renowned brands, the auto show also featured new technologies, vehicle security gadgets, spare parts, lubricants, tyres, garage tools, batteries as well as other accessories. Insurance service and auto loans were also provided during the show.
Altogether 90 companies had set up 130 stalls during the auto show from August 29 to September 3.
