Himalayan Bank Provides Fellowship Award

September 15: Himalayan Bank Limited has awarded this year’s HBL-Daayitwa Fellowship Award-2017 to the Nepali nationals working in the public service sector.  The bank said in a statement that it has been sponsoring six Nepali fellows since 2016.

“The fellows promote economic prosperity of the country working with various government agencies and policy makers to collaborate and innovate in the governance system,” the statement said.

CEO of HBL Ashoke SJB Rana handed over the cheque of sponsorship amount of Rs 504,000 to Dr Pukar Malla, executive director of Daayitwa amidst a function held at Himalayan Bank Ltd’s corporate office on September 14. At the function Dr Malla had also handed over a token of appreciation to CEO Rana for the bank’s valuable contribution to organize the fellowship program.
