Kumari Bank Provides Scholarship to former ‘Living Goddess’

November 6: Kumari Bank has provided scholarship to former ‘Living Goddess’ Manita Shakya, locally knows as “Kumari’. The bank has been depositing Rs 50,000 in the name of Shakya at its Putalisadak branch as per the commitment it had made during its 14^th anniversary, reads a press statement issued by the bank.

The bank’s CEO Surendra Bhandari handed over the amount deposited in Shakya’s account amid a function on Sunday, November 6.

The bank also pledged to provide scholarship for the current Living Goddess Trishna Shakya as well.
