Citizens Bank Opens Branch in Jhapa

November 7: With the country adopting federal set-up, Citizens Bank said it has given priority to opening branches at the local levels. In this regard, the bank said it has opened a branch at Jhapa’s Haldibari. The bank’s assistant CEO Bodhraj Devkota inaugurated the branch amid a function on Monday, November 7. With this, the bank now has 65 branches, 62 ATM counters and 97 branchless services across the country. During the inauguration, the bank handed over one set of computer each to Shree Laxmi Medium School and Shree Shanti Primary School as part of its corporate social responsibility. The bank said it will soon open branches in Mahottari and Dang districts.
