Japanese Investors See Good Potential in Birgunj

November 10: Japanese investors have said that the country’s main industrial center Birgunj can become a potential ground for foreign investment. A Japanese delegation led by Ambassador Masashi Ogawa to Pathdaiya-based Industrial Area of Birgunj and Birgunj Dry Port made such remarks during the visit. The delegation included representatives from KNP Japan and Singapore chapter of Japan Chamber of Commerce (JCC).

The Japanese ambassador said that he will take initiative to bring Japanese investment in Birgunj.

The 12-member delegation visited Birgunj on Wednesday, November 8.

JCC Singapore Chairman Tichiori Takuhiko said that Birgunj holds good potential for investment in industry, business, transportation, finance and tourism sectors.
