MBL to Provide Collateral-free Loan to Farmers

November 15: Machhapuchhre Bank Limited (MBL) has signed an agreement with Heifer International Nepal to provide loan without any collateral to farmers of Dang. The agreement was signed under the Access to Finance Project, which aims to provide banking service and loans to the backward community as well as for small scale farmers, youths and women entrepreneurs. As per the agreement, the bank will not provide loan to the farmers of Lamahi, Dang through various financial institutions in coordination with Heifer International Nepal.  The believes that the project will help in uplifting the living standard of farmers and women of the backward communities.

Issuing a press statement, the bank said it has been providing services through a total of 62 branches, four extension counters and seven branchless service locations across the country.
