NOC hikes Petroleum Price

December 20: Nepal Oil Corporation has increased the price of petroleum products effective from 12 am Tuesday.

NOC has increased the price on petrol, diesel, and kerosene by Re 1 per liter. With the increment, petrol now costs Rs 101, diesel and kerosene cost Rs 75 per liter.

Earlier, the decision of NOC to increase price before the election was revoked by the government. The state-run petroleum monopoly then increased the price after elections on December 8. Again after 12 days, NOC hiked the price of petroleum products on December 20. According to NOC, the prices were adjusted with the increase in fuel prices in the international market.

The prices of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and aviation turbine fuel are still the same. LPG costs Rs 1350 per cylinder.
