Laxmi Group to Build an Elevator in Bindabasini Temple

December 21: Laxmi Group, one of the leading business houses of the country, has said that it will build an elevator in Bindyabasini Temple in Pokhara on the occasion of its 45^th anniversary.

The group celebrated its 45^th anniversary organising different programs at its corporate office in Pokhara on Wednesday. According to the company, an elevator in the temple will help in tourism promotion in the area. The company is building the elevator to help the elderly and differently-abled people.

Sunil Shrestha, executive director of the group and Pabitra Raj Regmi, vice-president of Bindyabasini Religious Area Committee signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to build the elevator. Laxmi Group said it is building the elevator with an investment of Rs 8 million.

“We have been investing in different social sector every year. This year, we will build an elevator in Bindyabasini Temple,” Regmi said. To mark its anniversary, Laxmi Group also financially supported Pokhreli Youth Cultural Family with Rs 250,000.
