NT to Provide Credit Balance

January 22: Nepal Telecom has announced to start providing credit balance to its customers after their balance runs out. The company said it is providing the service free of charge to facilitate its customers.

Managing director of NT, Kamini Rajbhandari, informed that the service will be launched on the occasion of the company’s anniversary. She expressed her belief that the service will help the customers during emergency.

“The company will not charge any service charges for using the credit facility,” informed Rajbhandari adding that the credit amount is yet to be fixed.

According to Rajbhandari, with the initiation of the service, customers can borrow a certain amount as credit from the state-run telecom company. The amount taken as credit will be cleared after the next top-up.
