Siddhartha Foundation extends support to Nepal Leprosy Relief Association

January 29: Siddhartha Foundation, the CSR arm of Siddhartha Bank Limited, has extended financial support of Rs 67,000 to Nepal Leprosy Relief Association (NELRA) to install three water tanks for the use of leprosy affected individuals of Khokana Aarogya Ashram. The foundation said in a statement that it provided the support as a part of its effort to support communities through corporate social responsibility.

Rameshwor Prasad Bashyal, Deputy General Manager of Siddhartha Bank, handed over the cheque of Rs 67,000 to Surya Prasad Shrestha, president of Nepal Leprosy Relief Association, Maharajgunj amidst a ceremony on Friday, January 26.

DGM Bashyal expressed his immense gratification on behalf of Siddhartha Foundation for having had the opportunity to serve the society and assured that the bank will continue to address the needs of the community and work for the betterment of the Nepalese society in the future as well.
