BOK Starts Two More Branches

February 2: In a bid to extend its service, Bank of Kathmandu (BOK) has opened its branches at Sundar Bazar of Lamjung and Budhabare of Jhapa district. The bank said the branches were opened in accordance with the policy of Nepal government to make banking service accessible across the nation.

Issuing a press statement, the bank informed that mayor of Sundar Bazar, Janak Raj Mishra, and president of Lamjung Chamber of Commerce, Rajesh Thapa jointly inaugurated the branch at Sundar Bazar amid a function on Thursday, February 1.

Similarly, the Budhabare branch was jointly inaugurated by the bank’s Promoter Sanjay Bahadur Shah, mayor of Budhha Shanti Rural Municipality, Ramesh Bhujel, and president of Budhabare Chamber of Commerce,  Rudra Chapagain.

According to the bank, the branches will provide all kinds of banking services. The bank has been providing banking service across the country through a network of 79 branches, 67ATM outlets, and 8 extension counters as well as 17 branchless banking services.
