Skill Share’s First Session concludes

February 2: Clock B Innovation and Daaqi Pvt Ltd organised the first session of Skill Share on January 31. Ranjit Acharya, CEO of Prisma Advertising, the main speaker of the event, spoke about ‘entrepreneurial mindset’.

Acharya shared that entrepreneurial mindset is all about state of mind.

“Envisioning yourself as a successful entrepreneur is very important to keep yourself focused on what you do,” he said.

Acharya made references to the importance of lessons of the ancient Hindu epic, Mahabharata, in the present-day context. The strategies in entrepreneurship can be learnt by observing different stories of Mahabharata, Acharya shared. “Mahabharata teaches us about how a good mentor teaches us to use the tools in the right way,” he said.

“Whatever you create, you should know why you created it. If you find why you created the product, the what and how will fall in the right place itself,” he added.

Most importantly, entrepreneurs should come up with products with competitive advantage and always try to create differentiation in whatever they do, he further shared.

During the interactions session, Neeraj Pradhan, director of corporate strategy for Commonwealth Joe Coffee Roasters in Virginia, USA, said, “As mentorship is very important for every person with ideas, entrepreneurs should also be a bit extrovert to share their ideas and experiences with the right mentor.”

The event observed around 40 participants including business professionals, students and would-be entrepreneurs. Skill Share is a monthly event which focuses on sharing different skills on business and entrepreneurship.
