CG Automobiles, the authorized distributor of TVS two wheelers in Nepal launched its Dashain Tihar offer. Under this offer, the buyers of any TVS motorcycle or scooter can avail a cash discount up to Rs 10,000. This scheme is available on finance as well as exchange.

ŠKODA M.A.W. launched its scheme for the festive season under which consumers will be able to purchase a SKODA Fabia, the premium hatchback in the SKODA line of models, with a down payment of only Rs 350,000. This will enable consumers to purchase a brand such as SKODA for a much lower amount than is normally required when financing a new car. As for other brands and variants, SKODA M.A.W. stated that attractive offers are available on those as well, especially for the festive season.

Syakar Company announced a new scheme for its premium bikes customers on the occasion of Dashain and Tihar. CBR 250R/600RR/1000RR, CB600F Hornet, CB1000R, Tornado XR250R, and XR150R Bros figure among the Honda big bike segment. The offer included Rs 20,000 cash discount on XR150R Bros, Rs 10,000 cash discount on CBR250R/Tri Color and Rs 40,000 cash discount on the Hornet CB600F. These bikes are available from Wing World Showroom, Teku and Bajra auto Trading, Boudha.

On the auspicious occasion of Dashai and Tihar, the company also announced its Dashain-Tihar scheme on Honda Two wheelers. The offer was launched targeted to benefit its customers. According to the company, the scheme featured scratch cards which entitles the customers to win Rs 4,000-100,000. The scheme also had 16+4 free servicing for the time span of five years each worth Rs 5,600 and 10 per cent discount on spare parts for five years.

Hero MotoCorp Ltd (HMCL), the world’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer, launched brand ‘Hero’ and its range of two-wheelers in Nepal, marking the new brand’s foray into the country. It also announced a partnership with the reputed NGM to bring its two-wheelers to Nepal. Under the alliance, NGM was appointed as the distributor of Hero MotoCorp range of two-wheelers in Nepal. These products are being distributed through a network of more than 70 outlets spread across the country, with another 30 new outlets to be added in the next one year.
Pawan Munjal, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer of Hero MotoCorp Ltd, launched the new brand ‘Hero’ in the presence of Dr Roop Jyoti of NGM. Nepali cricketer and youth icon Binod Das introduced the 150cc high performance motorcycle – “Hero Xtreme”, while Miss Nepal 2012 Shristi Shrestha unveiled the scooter – “Pleasure”.


Pooja International Nepal Pvt Ltd, the authorized distributor of Volkswagen vehicles for Nepal, opened a showroom and servicing centre in Munal Path, Biratnagar. The showroom will have new Volkswagen models while the service centre will provide all assistance needed by the customers, informed the company. Volkswagen, headquartered at Wolfsburg, Germany is the biggest car manufacturer of Europe and holds 20 per cent of the European market share.
