Berger Supports Rotary Club in quake Rebuilding Process

February 15: Berger Paints Nepal, one of the leading paint manufacturers in Nepal, has supported Rotary Club of Jawalakhel Manjushree for painting of 49 houses in Burunchuli village of Godawari, Lalitpur.

This village was extensively damaged by the earthquake of 2015 and Rotary Club of Jawalakhel Manjushree with the help of Rotary District 3292 rebuilt these houses under Earthquake Relief Rehabilitation Reconstruction Program, reads a statement issued by Berger. Berger Paints Nepal said it provided all of the required paint free of cost under its corporate social responsibility.

The ceremony for handing over of 49 houses to their original owner was held on February 14 in the presence of various national and international dignitaries from Rotary International, Rotary District 3292, Representative of Local Municipality and other stakeholders.

Berger Paints, Nepal has identified its focus area for CSR initiatives on health and hygiene, education, promoting awareness for environment, traffic safety and to foster opportunity for employment generation among socially under privileged community through training and development.
