Water Transportation Service on Saptakoshi River

March 26: Jet boat is all set to facilitate travelers and tourists to visit various places of Udayapur, Bhojpur and Dhankuta through river route of Saptakoshi from Chatara.

Baraha Area Water Transportation and Tourism Service Company has started water transportation service with a new jet boat along the route of the river. The company believes the service can contribute in making Baraha area religious and tourism destination.

With the investment of Rs 30 million, entrepreneurs of Chatara have started operating the jet from Monday, March 26, said the founding member of the company, Amit Bhagat. He added that the boat has capacity to carry 40 passengers. However, only 25 passengers will be allowed at present because the  240 kg capacity of the boat includes both passengers and goods.
