NMB Bank signs loan agreement with IFC

March 28: NMB Bank Limited has signed an agreement with International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group, for loan.

CEO of NMB Bank, Sunil KC, and Mohammad Rehan Rashid, country representative of the World Bank for Nepal, signed a memorandum of understanding on behalf of their respective organizations.

The loan from IFC is subject to receiving approval from Nepal Rastra Bank. The loan from IFC is expected to bring in respite to the current liquidity environment, the bank said in a statement.  The bank further said that the loan will be mobilized primarily to support MSME/SME and agribusinesses.
