Machhapuchre Bank Supports Education Sector

April 10: Machhapuchre Bank has lent support to Matribhumi Mahila Samaj and Teach for Nepal under its corporate social responsibility.

Issuing a press statement, the bank said it has provided Rs 150,000 to 15 students of Mahila Samaj as school fees and educational materials for up to five months. Likewise, the bank has provided Rs 500,000 to Teach for Nepal, an organization contributing for the development of education in Nepal.

The bank's acting CEO Arjun Thapa handed over a cheque equivalent to the amount to the representatives of the two organisations.
