Mega Bank Introduces 'Sarbapriya' Saving Account

April 11: Mega Bank has introduced a new programme under its saving and fixed deposit account. Issuing a press statement on Tuesday, the bank said that it has started "Sarbapriya" saving account with 8 percent interest rate on the occasion of Nepali New Year.

“The bank will provide free services like Visa debit card, credit card, online banking, SMS service, ABBS facility, cheque book and account statement under the newly introduced programme,” a statement issued by the bank said, adding that the account holders can get discount up to Rs 500,000 in accidental insurance scheme and locker service.

The bank has introduced 60 days' fixed deposit account with 10 percent interest rate and 1 year fixed deposit account in which the account holder can get interest rate of 11 percent. The programme will come into operation from April, 15.
