Om Development Bank starts Branchless Banking Service at Ghandruk

April 19: Om Development Bank has started its branchless banking service in Ghandruk, a renowned tourism destination of Kaski district. Chairman of Annapurna Rural Municipality Yuba Raj Kunwar inaugurated the service amid a function held on Tuesday, April 17.

On the occasion, the bank even announced to provide scholarship annually to the students of Mesharm Baraha Secondary School. The bank has appointed its own employee, Bibek Gurung, as the bank's representative for Ghandruk. With the starting of the service, the bank has become the first development bank to provide branchless banking service. The bank's CEO Bishwo Mohan Adhikari believes that the service will benefit the residents of Ghandruk, Chomrong and people of the surrounding areas.
