April 19: Gandaki Bikas Bank has opened eight new branches in accordance to its objective of expanding its services across the country. The bank started its branches in eight different places including Hetauda of Makwanpur, Parsa of Chitwan, Ratna Chwok of Pokhara, Tansen of Palpa, Nepalgunj of Banke, Dhangadhi of Kailali, Ghorahi of Dang, and New Baneswar of Katmandu on Tuesday, April 17.
With the opening of these branches, the bank now has 59 branches, reads a press statement issued by the bank. The bank said the branches will support the entrepreneurs and the people residing in the places to carry out transaction easily.
