April 27: The paid-up capital of Garima Bikas Bank has increased by 95.5 percent during the third quarter of the current fiscal year. The paid-up capital of the bank was Rs 1.2 billion during the previous fiscal year but has reached Rs 2.5 billion this year.
The bank which has a deposit portfolio of Rs 18.6 billion has a loan portfolio of Rs 17.1 billion.
The net interest of the bank has increased by 13 percent this year which is Rs 281.5 million higher than the corresponding period of last year.
Similarly, the net operating profit has also increased by 12.7 percent with the increment of net interest by 28.68 percent.
