Sunrise Bank Starts Branchless Banking Service in Chakraghati

May 7: Sunrise Bank has started branchless banking service in Chakraghati of Barahachhetra Municipality-6 of Sunsari district. The bank said it started the service with an aim to provide banking service in all places which lack such service.

It is the 21^st branchless banking service of the bank. Surendra Prasad Gupta, president of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Barahachhetra Municipality inaugurated the service amid a function on Sunday, May 7. The bank also handed over a Point of Sale (PoS) machine to a local, Dinesh Neupane, by appointing him as the bank's representative for the place.

The bank said that its customers can conduct transaction including saving and withdrawal anywhere in the area through the PoS machine under branchless banking service.
