Laxmi Bank’s Two New Branches

May 24: Laxmi Bank has inaugurated two new branches, one each in Dhorchaur of Salyan and Tribeni of Rukum. These new branches will offer full range of retail banking services customized to meet the needs of individuals and small businesses, the bank said in a statement.

With this, Laxmi Bank's network has now spread across 42 district with 84 branches, three hospital service counters, 101 ATMs, more than 2500 remittance counters, 51 branchless banking locations and 400+ mobile banking agents across the country. The bank said it is rapidly expanding to newer and underserved markets with the aim of serving the growing demand for professional financial services such as innovative saving accounts, term deposits, home and auto loans, small business loans, microfinance, insurance etc.

According to the bank, it has been actively promoting digital channels such as internet and mobile banking to complement the growing number of branches as part of the ‘bricks and clicks’ strategy, allowing customers to touch the bank through a channel of their choice - branches, ATM, internet and mobile phones.
