OPPO Awarded In-Display Fingerprint Sensor Patent

May 24: OPPO has been awarded a patent for an in-display fingerprint scanner. According to the company, it has been awarded the patent by the State Intellectual Property Office of China (SIPO).

The scanner can be used not only for unlocking the device but also for authorizing payments, the company said in a statement.
