Digital Financial Service Workshop for Cooperatives

June 3: Unlimited Technology under the Microsoft Innovation Center Nepal organised  the Imperial Co-op Platform and Mobile App Workshop in Kathmandu on Friday, June 1 to update Nepali cooperatives about digital financial services. The one-day workshop aimed to enable various cooperatives to manage their overall business with digital and automated system by signing up for the app.

Allen Tuladhar, CEO of the company, shed light on the use and benefits of digital financial service through the mobile app.

 “Sixty one percent of all financial access points in Nepal are cooperatives helping millions of Nepalis, yet we lack digital financial services within the cooperative sector," he said. He added that new application can be utilized by both the cooperatives and their customers.

Representatives from 25 different cooperatives participated in the workshop. Speaking at the programme, Rabina Lage, operation officer at Imperial Saving and Credit Cooperative Ltd commented about the advantages of mobile application in daily transactions.

Microsoft Innovation Center Nepal, a leading software company of Nepal, has been delivering solutions through software technologies in Nepal.
