Laxmi Bank’s 95th branch in Sanepa

July 31: Laxmi Bank has inaugurated its 17th branch inside Kathmandu valley in Sanepa, Lalitpur.  

“This branch will offer full range of retail banking services customized to meet the needs of individuals and small businesses,” the bank said in a statement.  

With this, Laxmi Bank’s network now consists of 95 branches and three hospital service counters across 46 districts, 105 ATMs, 2,500 remittance agents and 51 branchless banking agents spread across the country.

The bank said in a statement that it is rapidly expanding to newer and underserved markets with the aim of providing financial services such as innovative saving accounts, term deposits, home and auto loans, small business loans, microfinance, insurance etc.

The bank claimed that it has been actively promoting digital channels such as internet and mobile banking to complement the growing number of branches as part of its ‘bricks and clicks’ strategy allowing customers to reach them through a channel of their choice – branches, ATM, internet and mobile phones.
