August 1: Thai Airways organised a blood donation and cardio check-up camp on Tuesday, July 31. The national flag carrier of Thailand organized the event to commemorate the plane crash of Thai Airways in Nepal 1992.
The airline has been regularly conducting health-related programmes under its corporate social responsibility in the memory of the casualties of the plane crash.
Thai Ambassador to Nepal Bhakawat Tansul attended the event as the chief guest while more than 120 individuals donated blood donation the programme.
The participants of the blood donation received free cardiac check-up, blood sugar test, ECG and ECO screening with the support from Shahid Gangalal National Heart Centre, Kathmandu under the leadership of Dr Arun Maskey, a senior consultant cardiologist and his team.
