August 12: Nepal Bangladesh (NB) Bank Limited and NLG Insurance Company Limited have signed an agreement to provide bancassurance service to their customers.
Deputy Chief Executive Officer of NB Bank, Surendra Bhushan Shrestha, and Acting CEO of NLG Insurance Company Sunil Panta signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations on Friday, August 10.
As per the agreement, customers of the bank will receive all the facilities related to non-life insurance service provided by NLG Insurance from all the 71 branches of the bank.
The bank said in a statement that its customers can avail insurance premium, claim insurance amount and receive all kinds of insurance services from its branches.
