August 21: National Banking Institute and Everest Bank signed a Memorandum of Understanding (M0U) on August 17 for strategic alliance under which NBI would provide training programs to the bank for human capital development. As per this agreement, the bank has committed minimum training investment worth Rs 5 million during the Fiscal Year 2075-76. The bank said in a statement on Monday that this partnership is expected to further leverage the strategic intervention towards the development of human capital of the bank.
CEO of Everest Bank Someshwar Seth and CEO of National Banking Institute Sanjib Subba signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations.
“This alliance is expected to be instrumental in the capacity building process and bringing about positive transformation in human capital development in the industry,” the statement further said.
