August 28: Unilever Nepal has earned a total profit of Rs 999.4 million as of fiscal year 2074/75. The net profit of the company stood at Rs 9.65 million in the last FY. According to the company, it was a 3.54 percent rise in profit as compared to the previous year.
The company attributed to the increase in profit to increase in production and sales of the goods by 9 percent during the review period.
The sales and production of the company which was Rs 4.4 billion during 2073/74 fiscal year reached Rs 4.8 billion in 2074/75.
The total income of the company during last FY was Rs 5.2 billion while it spent Rs 3.8 billion in various budget heads.
With a paid-up capital of Rs 92.1 million, the company has a total reserve fund of Rs 1.8 billion. At present, the company owns assets worth Rs 3.2 billion with Rs 1.2 billion in liabilities.
