September 3: Janata Bank has handed over computers to a community school in Kavre district. Issuing a press statement, the bank said it provided two sets of computers to Fulchoki Basic School in Panauti, Kavre under its corporate social responsibility. The bank’s representative Chabilal Humagain handed over the computers to Panauti Municipality’s Mayor Bhim Neupane, who in turn handed it to the school’s principal Keshav Humagain.
Janata ABank said it has been giving priority to education and health sectors under to its corporate social responsibility. The bank plan’s to provide scholarships to 200 students across the country this year.
