NIBL’s new branch at Bafal

September 25: Nepal Investment Bank Ltd has opened a branch at Bafal, Kathmandu. Chairman of the bank, Prithivi Bahadur Pande , inaugurated the branch amid a recent event.

The branch was opened with an objective to extend convenient banking services to the residents of Bafal, Kalanki and Sitapaila, the bank said in a statement. As an initiative to attain financial inclusion, the bank has been opening branches in deprived and underserved locations of the country, the statement added.

According to the bank, it has a customer base of 870,000 catered to from its 77 branches and eight extension counters across the country. NIBL has a network of 103 ATMs and leads a consortium of 14 Visa Associate banks and 7 NPN member banks. There are almost 1.5 million cards issued by its network, along with 790 ATMs and 2,597 POS terminals.
