September 26: Green Development Bank which is headquartered at Baglung is shifting its central office to Pokhara.
The bank said in a statement that the decision to shift the office was made by the 5th annual general meeting of the bank.
The 5th annual general meeting conducted under the chairmanship of Ganesh Kumar Shrestha, chairman of Green Development Bank, also appointed Krishna Shankar Shrestha and Shyam Prasad Shrestha as the board members of the bank from among the founder share holders and Prakash Kumar Shrestha from the general share holder.
The bank with its activities centered around Baglung, Kaski and Myagdi has announced that it will operate four new branches in Pokhara, two new branches in Baglung and one new branch in Myagdi.
Umesh Kumar Acharya, CEO of Green Development Bank, informed that the bank is also working to start online banking service, mobile banking and SMS banking.
