October 4: With the onset of the tourist season, Yeti Airlines has started flights to Pokhara from Kathmandu with its 72-seater ATR from Wednesday, October 3. Issuing a press statement, the airline company said that it started the flights considering the increase in demand for flights to the tourist city.
According to Yeti Airlines’ communications officer Bhimraj Rai, the company has started two flights a day to Pokhara with the ATR 72-500.
“We may increase the flights as per the demand of the customers,” said Rai.
Yeti Airlines said that it will also start flights to the destination with 30-seater Jetstream 41aircraft.
Currently, Yeti Airlines has been operating 10-12 flights a day to Pokhara from Kathmandu with small aircraft.
