June 5: The proposal of Standard Chartered Bank of distributing 19.21 percent cash dividend and 25 percent bonus share has been endorsed by annual general meeting held on last Friday. The AGM has appointed general shareholder Shanker Lal Agarwal in the post of Director of the bank.

The operating profit of the bank was amounted to Rs 1.82 billion whereas net profit amounted to Rs 1.29 billion in the last FY. During the period, weighted risky assets of the bank have increased by 4 percent to Rs 28.02 billion.
