May 21: An earthquake has occurred in East Rukum.    
An earthquake measuring 4.1 in the Richter scale took place at 2:59 am today (May 21) with its epicenter in Hukam gaon in East Rukum, according to the National Seismology and Research Center Lainchaur, Kathmandu.    
Earlier, an earthquake of the same magnitude had occurred on May 4 with its epicenter in Bajura district. Western parts of Nepal has been witnessing frequent occurrence of earthquakes of late. -- RSS
