October 04: Life Automobile, the authorized distributor of Fiat cars in Nepal, has started sales of Punto Pure hatchback in Narayanghat appointing Euro Automotive as the local dealer.

“The Fiat Punto Pure is the entry vehicle with impressive features like strong European build, four cylinder engine, spacious interior and class leading ground clearance,” says the company in a press statement. The hatchback is available in a 1.2 L FIRE petrol engine producing 68 PS at 6000 rpm of power and generating 96 Nm at 2500 rpm of torque.  Priced at Rs 2.28 million, the new Fiat four-wheeler is available in to exotica red, hip hop black and white colours. According to the statement, the hatchback comes with a five-speed manual transmission. The car is equipped with a 45 liter fuel tank offering a mileage of 15.7 kmpl and has 195 millimeters of ground clearance. “The interior of Punto Pure is inspired from its predecessor, Punto Evo which was a big hit in Nepal. The large dimension makes the cabin comfortable for five people,” informs the company. The car also has a 280 liters boot offering ample space for weekend getaways.

The Punto Pure’s comes with ‘Me’ headlamps which stay on after the engine is switched off. The hatchback has 14 inch steel wheels and black colored outer rear view mirrors and door handles. The European car is embodied with fire prevention system in which the fuel supply cuts off in case off accident. Life Automobile is offering 3 years warranty and buyback guarantee for the car.

Rajan Gautam, President of Chitwan Chamber of Commerce and Industries, unveiled the Punto Pure amid a ceremony. The ceremony was featured with swimming, live music, DJ and cocktail dinner.
