The fifth edition of Nepal Infrastructure Summit is set to be held in Kathmandu for two days beginning September 12 this year. Earlier editions of the summit were organised in 2014, 2017, 2019 and 2022.
The summit will be jointly hosted by the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport and the Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI).
Identifying challenges and opportunities in Nepal’s infrastructure sector, catalysing government-promised reforms, forging stronger regional networks and alliance and attracting large-scale private investments will be the objective of the summit, according to organisers.
The Investment Board of Nepal and Youth Community for Nepalese Contractors (YCNC) will remain as co-hosts.
More than 100 guests and speakers from Nepal and abroad are expected at the summit. Discussion will be held on energy and water resources, urban development, construction industry, ICT and technology integration in enhancing infrastructure among other topics.
