flydubai, a Dubai-based international airlines company, has announced the commencement of daily flight services to and from Gautam Buddha International Airport, starting November 10.
Ticket bookings for the Dubai-Bhairahawa-Kathmandu route opened on Tuesday, and the airline has appointed Universal Tours and Travels as its General Sales Agent.
According to Pratap Babu Tiwari, general manager of Gautam Buddha International Airport, the flydubai flights will land at the airport at 1:45 PM and at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu at 2:45 PM. The aircraft will then continue to Dubai after a one-hour technical stop at Tribhuvan International Airport.
Passengers from Dubai will disembark at Gautam Buddha International Airport, and those flying to Dubai will board the same plane, in line with approvals from the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal.
General Manager Tiwari also mentioned that a team from the airline recently inspected the airport.
In addition, Jazeera Airways is set to resume its flights from Gautam Buddha International Airport on October 28, with services three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. -- RSS
