The Ministry of Finance is set to initiate the necessary steps to foster a more conducive commercial and industrial environment in the country.
During a meeting with senior officials of the ministry on Sunday, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Bishnu Prasad Paudel stated that the ministry will prioritize facilitating a business-friendly and industrial environment to encourage greater capital mobilization and investment growth.
Minister Paudel also directed the relevant bodies to enhance their efforts in revenue collection and capital expenditure.
Revenue Secretary Dinesh Kumar Ghimire emphasized that improving the business and industrial environment would positively impact revenue collection.
In the meeting, Head of the Budget Division, Shree Krishna Nepal, assured that there are no resource management issues for the reconstruction of damaged structures by the recent floods. -- RSS
