Gham Power has been officially named one of the ten global winners of the 2025 Keeling Curve Prize, a prestigious international award that honors high-impact solutions for climate change mitigation.
The award recognizes Gham Power’s continuous efforts to build climate resilience across Nepal through clean and distributed solar energy solutions that empower rural communities and industries, the company said in a statement.

The announcement was made at the TED Countdown Summit in Nairobi, Kenya, where leaders and innovators from around the world gathered to share groundbreaking ideas in the fight against climate change.
“Gham Power was selected in the Energy category and awarded $50,000 to scale its solar-powered initiatives that help underserved areas of Nepal gain access to reliable, affordable electricity, reducing carbon emissions and replacing polluting fuel sources like diesel,” read the statement.
Chosen from over 2,500 global applicants, Gham Power stood out for its innovative model that combines solar technology with financing tools to make clean energy accessible to those who need it most.
With over 4,000 completed projects, Gham Power continues to pioneer sustainable energy solutions that not only power homes and businesses but also strengthen food systems, health services, and climate resilience in Nepal’s most vulnerable regions, the company said.
