January 3: Global IME Bank has opened its corporate and registered office in Kathmandu on the occasion of its 11 th anniversary. Nepal Rastra Bank’s Governor Chiranjivi Nepal inaugurated the office amid a function on Tuesday, January 2. Global IME Bank, which started its service in 2007 by establishing a registered office in Birgunj, has succeeded in setting up its corporate and registered office in the capital within 11 years of its establishment.
Chairman of the bank Chandra Prasad Dhakal attributed the success of the bank to its customers, shareholders, well wishers and staff members and pledged to provide better services in the coming days. On the occasion of its 11 th anniversary, the bank also opened five new branches across the country. The new branches were opened in the capital’s Kamaladi and Gothatar; Purchaudi of Baitadi; Gaidakot of Gulmi and Damak of Jhapa. Now, the bank has a total of 113 branches.
