January 30: Nepal Grameen Bikash Bank has earned Rs 366.5 million operating profit in the FY 2072/73 according to the second annual general meeting of the bank held on January 29 in Butwal. The AGM held under the chairmanship of Manik Ratna Shakya, Chairman of the bank approved BOD report along with balance sheet, profit and loss account, cash flow and other financial reports of the FY 2072/73.
The national level microfinance development bank started integrated transaction on August 16, 2014. The bank was established by merging former five Grameen Bikash (rural development) Banks of five development regions under the initiation of Nepal government and NRB.
