March 6: Hotel Annapurna has opened Jagatpur Lodge in Chitwan. Organising a press meet on March 5, Srijana Rana, Acting director of Hotel Annapurna informed that the new lodge is opened with an investment of Rs 270 million.
Rana claimed that the newly opened lodge will be successful to provide unique services to its guests among the resorts in Chitwan. "The lodge is located 21 kilometers away from Bharatpur Airport in South West and it occupies five bigaha of land", she added. As per Raju Bikram Shah, Executive Consultant of the resort, there are seven luxurious tents and 20 deluxe rooms for stay.
Shah said that the luxurious tents used in the resort are brought from South Africa and will be used for the first time in Nepal. He added, "The visitors and guests of the resort can enjoy the natural beauty of the forest from the tents." Annapurna is operating Hotel Annapurna in Kathmandu, Fishtail Lodge in Pokhara and Jagatpur Resort Lodge in Chitwan.
