April 20: Janata Bank has appointed GMI Remit as the agent of Janata Remit. Janata Bank's CEO Parashu Ram Chhetri and GMI Remit's Managing Director Diwakar Poudel signed an agreement amid a function on Thursday, April 19.

According to the agreement, the amount sent through Janata Remit can be claimed from any branches of GMI Remit. Similarly, money sent from abroad through GMI Remit can be withdrawn from any branch of Janata Bank.
