July 31: The Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has reduced the prices of petroleum products, effective from Thursday.
According to a press release issued by the NOC on Wednesday, the price of petrol has been decreased by Rs 1 per litre, while diesel and kerosene oil have been reduced by Rs 2 per litre.
The price of aviation fuel remains unchanged.
With the new prices, petrol will cost Rs 167 per litre and diesel and kerosene oil Rs 155 per litre in Charali, Biratnagar, Janakpur, Amalekhgunj, Bhalbari, Nepalgunj, Dhangadhi, and Birgunj.
In Surkhet and Dang, the price of petrol will be Rs 169 per litre, with diesel and kerosene oil priced at Rs 157 per litre.
Petrol will be sold at Rs 170 per litre in Pokhara, Kathmandu, and Dipayal, while diesel and kerosene oil will cost Rs 158 per litre.
